What’s the difference between flow-level and email-level reporting?

Still have a question, spotted an error, or have a better explanation or a source we should cite?

Flow-level reporting evaluates the automation as a whole:

How many entered the flow. How many completed it. Overall conversion rate. Total revenue attributed. Time to conversion.

Email-level reporting evaluates individual messages:

Open and click rates per email. Which emails drive the most conversions. Where recipients drop off. Performance of specific content.

Why both matter: Flow-level shows if the automation achieves its goal. Email-level shows which components work and which need improvement. Optimization requires both perspectives.

Example analysis: Flow achieves 10% conversion rate (flow-level success). Email 3 has 5% click rate vs 15% for others (email-level problem). Improving email 3 could boost flow performance.

Flow-level answers "is it working?" Email-level answers "how can we improve it?"

Design reporting that shows both flow and email performance.

I'm setting up reporting for an automation workflow in your ESP. I need to show leadership both overall flow performance and which individual emails are winning. Should I be tracking these separately, or is there a dashboard view that shows both?
