What is Postmark Stats?
Still have a question, spotted an error, or have a better explanation or a source we should cite?
If you send transactional email through Postmark, their built-in analytics dashboard is called Postmark Stats. It's the reporting layer baked right into your account, so you don't need a separate tool to understand what's happening with your sends.
Postmark Stats shows you delivery rates, bounce details (broken down by type and reason), spam complaint tracking, and time-to-inbox metrics. You also get open rates, click rates, and historical trending so you can spot patterns over time. Because Postmark is built specifically for transactional email, the metrics lean toward reliability signals rather than campaign optimization. Did the receipt arrive? How fast? Did it bounce, and why?
That focus is intentional. Postmark's whole reputation is built on speed and transparency, and Stats reflects that. The bounce categorization is genuinely detailed, which helps when you need to debug a specific failure or prove delivery to a frustrated user who swears they never got their password reset.
The trade-off worth knowing: Postmark Stats is tied to your Postmark sending. If you're also sending marketing email through a different platform, those sends won't show up here. For full-picture deliverability monitoring across multiple streams, you'd want a dedicated monitoring tool on top of this.
