The email conference world is dominated by a handful of events, mostly US and UK-based, but there's a real regional circuit for practitioners who want locally relevant content and networking without a transatlantic flight.
In the US, Litmus Live is the largest dedicated email marketing conference. Inbox Expo covers both marketing and technical deliverability tracks. MailCon focuses on the performance marketing and affiliate side of email. Email Summit is smaller and practitioner-focused.
In Europe, Email Marketing Day runs in Germany (usually Frankfurt) and attracts a strong EU-specific audience including GDPR-focused content. Webwinkel Vakdagen in the Netherlands covers email within broader e-commerce marketing. M3AAWG runs both a North American and a European annual meeting, which are technically focused rather than marketing-focused.
LATAM and APAC have fewer dedicated email events. Regional ecommerce and digital marketing conferences typically include email tracks. Email-specific communities in Brazil, Mexico, and Australia tend to be more active online (LinkedIn groups, regional Slack communities) than at conferences.
Regional events matter because the regulatory context differs. EU events spend more time on GDPR compliance and privacy-first sending than US events typically do. If your sender program has heavy EU audience exposure, attending EU-focused events is worth it for the compliance perspective alone.
