Your email platform knows what subscribers do in their inbox. Your CRM knows what they do in your sales pipeline, support queue, and account history. Bidirectional sync is even more valuable. When email engagement data flows back to the CRM, sales teams can see which prospects opened recent campaigns before a call. Marketing sees which sales-qualified leads have gone cold and need nurturing. Both teams work from the same picture.
Define which system is authoritative for each data field before you sync. If both systems try to update the same field in opposite directions, you'll create conflicts that overwrite good data with stale data.
