Signatures

Email Signature Analyzer

Every email you send carries the same signature. If it is heavy, image-only, link-stuffed, or built with CSS your inbox provider strips, the cost compounds across every send. Paste yours; we grade it across five categories and flag what needs to change.

Parsing happens server-side. We do not store the input beyond the request.

How it works

What the analyzer measures

Five categories, 100 points total. Each category corresponds to a class of bug that hurts deliverability or rendering across the major email clients.

HTML weight (25)

Total size, inline style count, nested table count, and div nesting depth. Heavy signatures attach themselves to every send and add up.

Images (25)

Image count, missing alt text, missing width or height, base64 inlining, and text-to-image ratio. Image stuffing is the most common signature smell.

Links (20)

Total link count, shortened URLs, javascript: links, non-HTTPS targets, and link-text vs href mismatch (phishing pattern).

Content (15)

Word count, spam trigger phrases, and legal disclaimer detection. A 200-word disclaimer on every email is real bandwidth.

Technical (15)

Table vs div layout, <style> tags, web fonts, unsupported CSS (flexbox, grid, position, float), script tags, and background images. Anything an email client strips or breaks.

When to use it

When this tool fits

Signature audits are most valuable right before a sales team rollout, after a brand refresh, or when deliverability dropped and you cannot find the cause.

  • Your sales team is about to roll out a new signature. Paste the proposed HTML before the rollout, not after. You have one chance to set the baseline weight.
  • Inbox placement dropped after a brand refresh. The new signature is the variable. Run it through and compare against the prior version.
  • You inherited a signature template you did not write. Find out whether it carries unsupported CSS, web fonts, or base64 images before you adopt it across the company.
