What is NordSpam?
Still have a question, spotted an error, or have a better explanation or a source we should cite?
bl.nordspam.com checks IPs and dbl.nordspam.com checks domains. The NordSpam Project runs them, a nonprofit by its own description.
What the operator says
"targeted mainly to Nordic and European countries" NordSpam, read 31 Oct 2026.
What it really measures
Spam aimed at the Nordics and Europe. Every entry is checked by hand, and the exact criteria are not published. If you send into Nordic markets, the domain list is worth watching. We class the IP list as low-impact.
How to get off it
Listings do not expire automatically. Old ones may be rechecked, so it is better to ask. Email delist at nordspam dot com in English and say what you did to stop the spam. For an IP, it comes from the IP block's owner. For a domain, it comes from an address at that domain. It is free and usually takes 1 to 48 hours. A message with no explanation is likely ignored.
What "low-impact" means on these pages: the big mailbox providers rarely use the list, so it rarely affects delivery at Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo. It can still point at something worth fixing.
Want a hand getting this delisted? Here is how to write to a list's operator, or ask a person on our free SOS Hotline. Tell us the list and the IP or domain, and we reply within 48 to 72 hours.
A separate job: cleaning your list does not remove a listing. If you also want to know who on your list is safe to send to, clean your first 1,000 free.
