What is PCCC WILD?

Still have a question, spotted an error, or have a better explanation or a source we should cite?

wild.pccc.com checks domains. PCCC (Peregrine Hardware) runs it, the maker of Raptor Email Security.

What the operator says

"We try and only add domains when the evidence is overwhelming" PCCC WILD RBL, read 1 Nov 2026.

What it really measures

More than bad mail. It sorts entries into categories, including bad, compromised and marketing domains, with some entries there to count in your favour. It can catch services with good and bad users alike, hacked servers of real firms, and hosts with weak anti-spam rules.

Why you might be there

The category tells you. Compromised points at a hack, and marketing means high volume and is meant to count only lightly.

What to think about

PCCC says it only uses this for scoring and does not block outright with it.

How to get off it

Use the Report a Problem page.

Want a hand getting this delisted? Here is how to write to a list's operator, or ask a person on our free SOS Hotline. Tell us the list and the IP or domain, and we reply within 48 to 72 hours.

A separate job: cleaning your list does not remove a listing. If you also want to know who on your list is safe to send to, clean your first 1,000 free.

The most useful email questions, once a month

One email a month. New questions worth reading, real deliverability changes (Gmail and Outlook updates, etc.), and any tool or report that landed since the last issue. No fluff, no upsell.
