truncate.gbudb.net checks IPs. ARM Research Labs runs it, using its GBUdb data.
What the operator says
"produces exclusively email containing spam, scams, viruses, or other malware patterns" ARM Research Labs, Truncate, read 31 Oct 2026.
What it really measures
A share, worked out by machine. Message Sniffer filters share what they see in a reputation database, and an IP is listed when over 95 percent of what they recorded from it was bad. Nobody adds or removes an IP by hand.
Why you might be there
Nearly everything seen from that IP was bad. That may not be your doing, so look for a compromised machine or an outbreak.
What to think about
The operator calls the list very conservative and says most systems can safely reject listed IPs. We class it as low-impact. The site says it watches the list closely, though its newest dated news is from 2018.
How to get off it
Stop the bad mail, and the IP drops off when the numbers change: a couple of days after a small event, a week or more after a severe one. There is no form. On request, the operator may be able to trace the IP to help you find the source.
What "low-impact" means on these pages: the big mailbox providers rarely use the list, so it rarely affects delivery at Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo. It can still point at something worth fixing.
